PLEASE HELP … Your Voice Matters!
We hope you'll participate in requesting University of Wisconsin Extension to hire an Extension Forage Agronomist.
It only takes a couple of minutes.
We urgently need you to contact University of Wisconsin Extension and urge the hiring of an Extension Forage Agronomist to fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Dr. Dan Undersander. A dedicated Extension Forage Agronomist is critical to the continued health of the forage and dairy industries in Wisconsin.
Alfalfa is grown in virtually every county in Wisconsin, and in terms of value, Wisconsin ranks second in the nation in alfalfa production. Wisconsin also ranks second in milk production, which represents the largest single segment of Wisconsin agriculture. No other single product produced in Wisconsin creates a greater economic impact than milk – and alfalfa is key to successful milk production.
As a Wisconsin farmer or industry representative, please lend your support to our effort to urge University of Wisconsin Extension to refill the vacant extension forage agronomist position as soon as possible. Thanks for your help!
